Watching In The Line of Fire with John Malkovich

Carlos' face today was inspired this morning by watching a very interesting movie I'd never had the pleasure of watching previously, "In the Line of Fire" There is a scene where the brilliant John Malkovich makes an amazing face right before killing two guys and just after saying, "Well why'd you shoot that bird then, asshole?"



John Malkovich is BRILLIANT! He was SOOO creeepily charming. I recommend this movie if you haven't seen it. Not just to find the scene that inspired Carlos so, although that is a big reason to watch it in itself. The interactions between Malkovich and Clint Eastwood are IN-TENSE!

Getting Caught Up...

Looking through photos of this past year, there are many faces that I should post up on this blog. It would be boring if all the backgrounds and locations were the same. Here is a nice one from May when we took a San Francisco trip. This was my family's first time out there, and I hadn't been there since I was a kid. This was while riding the Trolley Car. Enjoy.

I Should Explain...

So the header image is probably one of the most horrible faces Carlos has made. He gets that muse every time we take the kids to Chuck E Cheese's. They have a photo sketch machine there and each picture costs 1 token. Needless to say, we take advantage.

The rest of the picture was a quick photoshop sketch for a Cakewreck cake idea, which Carlos requested last December for his birthday. If you have never read the Cakewreck blog, I highly recommend it! HERE's the link http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

The cake was based on that horrible face he made, which we all refer to as the rock cod. So I made a rock cod cake. Here's what we came up with:

Welcome to A Face Per Day! This blog was inspired by Carlos and I watching all 3 seasons of Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! all at the same time. Tim and Eric's amazing and horrible faces reminded me of Carlos' horrible rubber face. So I said to him, you should have a blog about it! A face per day! Let's see how long you can keep it going. So this is the first post. Carlos had an issue with his eyes yesterday and this was taken on the way back home from the Optometrist...
